A great opportunity for positive change and innovation has been squashed.

I predict when Saban retires, Finebaum will pass away just like the Bear did.

Sucks. SEC Network had a chance to gain some credibility. I guess we’re in store for another 5 years of nothing but 4 hours of Finebaum, 10 SEC Now replays, and reruns of the same 3-4 SEC Stories.

When your fan bases best caller is Jim from Tuscaloosa, you do not throw stones.

Damn.

Well, I never watch/listen anyway, but I was hoping for some better programing so that I could watch. I refuse to watch Finebaum. I can't believe people with any amount of intelligence and self-respect care to bother, but I know many do. I just don't get it.

If people would turn him off he'd go away.

You guys see Tori Gurley was on yesterday and guaranteed a win vs Georgia when they come to the Cock Pit?

Well, I wouldn’t make Finebaum & his callers the driving force of the network.

I think the SEC Network could have a little more programming devoted to life in the SEC, whether it be the fans or the schools. They could have more original (as in creative) shows that maybe even touch on the lighter side of the SEC. Make a fraction of the programming a smidge like the old Turner South. Maybe even add more replays of classic games that weren’t from the last few seasons.

Combine that with the actual live sports then it would be a great network.
