Any win is a good win.
Hopefully the basketball fan base that is local will return again and make the Hump a bit more intimidating.
Looking forward to see how this team develops and then what happens in conference play. Really nice start to the season.

7 years ago was the 2011-2012 season, and unfortunately that season started off a lot like this one. We had a lot of good wins in Novemeber and December and got up to #15 in the AP poll. We fell apart in conference play, though, and lost first round of the NIT.
I think we're a lot better than that team was, and I don't think that will be our fate this year, but I'm still taking nothing for granted.

I agree. Our kids look like they're having a lot of fun out there, and that's awesome to watch. There are just some parallels to that team if you go back and look at the schedule only. I think we'll make a run in the tournament. I'm just excited/anxious for conference play.

Wofford played exceptionally well, and we still won the gave. They shot 54.4% for the game. They shot 59.1% from the 3. They shot 85.7% from the FT line. I knew they would be tough, but they are really good.
We are now 59 for out last 110 shots from the 3-pt line. That is kind of ridiculous.

Wofford's coach said in the press conference that he "hoped like hell he did not have to play Mississippi State in March."
