Dogs playing great tonight. Kentucky beat Louisville by 29, I think the Dogs can match that to maintain the sec average margain of victory. Of course that will only be useful to me when I have to hear the SEC vs ACC bullshite from Louisville fans.

All that's left to do is take their baseball coach

Are they really going to foul down 27 with 1:20 left?

Year one had 7 Rick Ray seniors. So this actually is a good accomplishment. Next year is going to be a good one.

They're a #1 seed in women's basketball. We could play them next Friday in the Women's Basketball Final Four.

Where did this team come from?

They just needed to build up some team chemistry and some confidence. But I think they are enjoying playing outside the league for a change.

Is MSU going to schedule better next year?

I know that's not necessarily easy, but it would be worth it to even do 1 for 2H or schedule some anticipated top midmajors who struggle finding opponents

MSU will still be relatively young and have a lot of guys that are elite 1 on 1/ ISO players. They need someone to punch them in the face to start the year so the team understands they can't win by themselves playing hero ball

You need to keep up. We have a much tougher schedule next year.

I asked the question because I'm trying to keep up brodie.

I saw you'll play Cincy again, Zona St and possibly another P5. That should be decent enough for top end, but what about the "buy" games? Don't want to schedule as many losing record teams again

Don't make me regret white knighting for MSU

We have a road game at Dayton and a game in Jackson vs Southern Mississippi. Beyond that and what you've pointed out, idk much about the schedule

So you got screwed just like AU did when Dayton hired Anthony Grant? (We have Dayton at home)

Dayton should be slightly better, but I don't see Dayton winning 20+ games next year and this will be at best a Quadrant 2 win.

Southern Mississippi.

You'd think they'd improve if they return everyone, but there is a chance they lose on of their best players PG Tyree Griffin (15ppg 6apg 4rpg ) to the grad transfer market.

Arizona St

Hurley is a great coach so they should be good, but they are replacing 3 seniors from theirs starting lineup including their two best players Tra Holder and Shannon Evans

I think it will be an impressive win come selection time, but as far as having early tough competition to have team face adversity, I think ASU will be too young to give that

Yeah we actually hosted Dayton last year after you went on the road. It was one of 3 buzzer beaters Q Weatherspoon hit for Mississippi State this season. It was quite funny to see Anthony Grant back at the Hump. And yeah they totally flopped. Hopefully it's an opportunity for a better win. But I would assume they would have a good crowd for a SEC game.

Southern Mississippi is an instate opponent we decided to play our Jackson game against in a 4 year year contract. And I bet we continue to play them in some sort afterwards. And thanks to Donnie Tindall, they suck. But at least our series record is racking up wins.

I would love to schedule Memphis. That's the team I'd like to see if I could choose another one to schedule.

This wasn’t a schedule to just fill up on W’s preseason. The early schedule was pretty much necessary due to the youth and inexperience of the team. They had to play some weaker teams to gel and get up to speed. If MSU front loaded the schedule with some more difficult play, they would have probably been L’s anyway and the team wouldn’t have been as far along. Confidence could have been shaken... cruise through sec play while continuing to struggle.. no postseason.. and guarantee a slow start again next year.

The strategy worked. The team is leaps and bounds better than just back to the start of SEC play. Leadership is starting to develop. More discipline. More confidence. Lamar Peters looks like a whole different player by himself. Ado has come along miles from where he was too.

It would be great to win the NIT to build an expectation for next year.

They got along pretty well, it'd be nice to see a Franklin/Moorhead reunion in New York. Good luck, Bulldogs.
