Vanderbilt and their Ruby Tuesday chef pants uniforms look poised to overtake UGa for 1st in the East by Sunday evening. Arkansas surged in to 1st in the West yesterday without swinging a bat.
Weather looks to be fine for baseball all around our fine Southland. it even appears to be dry/no snow up in Columbia Manitoba for the Gamecocks and MUTigers.

SCOUTING MISSOURI
The Tigers are coming off a 6-2 win over Missouri State on Tuesday night as Kameron Misner had two hits and drove in a pair while the Tiger pitching allowed just five hits on the night. Misner has 10 home runs, 29 RBI and 16 stolen bases while Chris Cornelius has 10 doubles on the season. On the mound, TJ Sikkema has four wins and a 1.46 ERA with 71 strikeouts in 61.2 innings pitched while Tyler LaPlante has a 2.38 ERA in eight starts.
THE SERIES
Carolina leads the all-time series vs. Missouri, 14-7, and are 4-5 in Columbia, Mo., against the Tigers. Last season, the Gamecocks won three of four meetings with Missouri, taking 2-of-3 games in a May series in Founders Park and winning, 4-2, in the opening round of the SEC Tournament in Hoover on May 22. Carlos Cortes had a walk-off home run in a 1-0 win in South Carolina on May 13, 2018.

SECN must be pinching the travel budget pennies. They didn't cover the State-Ole Miss mid week game. They showed Mizzou-Mizzou state instead.
