Damn if anything youd think SC would be a fairly likeable job being in ACC Territory. Is it the womens program?
Its the board of trustees, and the negative AAU bias towards SC.

SC was pretty good in the 70s with McGwire. Getting out of the ACC and wandering the wasteland hurt. They were in the metro in the 80s which had a few decent teams but meh..The colonial life arena is too big should of revamped McGwire arena just my 2 cents

Arkansas, Tennessee and Florida are all better jobs than Texas.

Back in the day, they had Alex English.
They made final four just a few years ago.
I’m not sure what is going on there.
They’ve had some talented players recently.
The venue is nice. I’ve been to AU@USC twice and went up for a Mizzou@USC game when my daughter was in college there.
They need the right coach I guess.

no way Tennessee is above Florida

I'd have to agree, at least based on fan support.

Texas in the top 5 surprises me

Florida should be higher, 2nd in my opinion. Vandy should also be higher by 2-3 steps.

Kentucky
Florida
Arkansas
Everyone else
If LSU actually invested in MBB, the history is there. SC recently made a final four and is in a talent rich area. They shouldn’t be last.

To not have UF top 3 is absolutely insane.
I'm no Gator fan but you're absolutely correct. In fact, they should be #2 or possibly 1b.
UK has an unmatched pedigree but, let's face it they aren't what they were.
UF on other hand has three titles in the current century. No other program in the SEC can match that and they've played in at least one other title game with both Donovan and the coach prior to Donovan.
Regarding the polling of coaches. I can almost bet that it was some flunky in the Sports Information department to filled out the survey. Coaches ain't got time for that mindless bullshite.

quote:in theory yes because of what has been accomplished but in practice coaches have to deal with the UAA sabotaging them all the time so that knocks it down several pegs

Wow, surprised to see Texas A&M even made the list!
It's a list of every team..

They didn’t say it was Head Coaches

Wild that Ole Miss is not last! They just got over .500 record all time last year and they have never made it past the sweet 16. Hell, SC has made it to a Final Four

Explain Tennessee to me.
