3-9. 4-8 at best. Napier and staff are in the deep end. And they can't swim.....plus, their arm floaties are quickly losing air.

Respectfully, After one year, you’re already talking shite about your coach. Recruits are paying attention. My suggestion is let Napier work out his bugs. If after 5 years he’s making same mistakes, then fire him. Otherwise, try and find the positive from last nights game.

As a Gump, who’s seen greatness and experienced a lashing by your Gators, I’d say if mistakes weren’t made, you’d won the game. It’s not like you did not have the talent.

Cheer up pal, be positive, only way for your team to get where you want.

There is nothing positive to take from the game. And I doubt a 4 or 5 star recruit, gives a shite what a random guy on a message board says. They only care about how much $ they can get with their NIL deal.

Exactly. Stick with Napier. Forever. And ever. And ever.

Does 1 Orange Bowl in the last 25 years mean Tennesse is back?

No. It means Tennessee finally hired a good coach. It’s just that simple. Napier MIGHT be a good coach for Florida. The jury is still out on this though.

Mertz actually done a good job

It’s the missed plays and tackles

Still too soon for me to make a call on them yet.
Some teams just don’t perform well on the road for their 1st game of the season

Yeah this is it. Zook fed Meyers teams. Muschamp fed McElwains and mullens first teams.

Problem is I don't think Billy will recruit great without winning especially if FSU becomes a 10 win team.

Also, Utah was without a lot of starters and still handled the Gators without much difficulty. Time will tell but if you don't have an OL that can help with the running game you are in trouble.

If I was a Florida fan I'd be most concerned about being able to score enough points to win games. Didn't see a lot of playmakers on that side. Billy is going to have to be a lot better coach if they are going to turn it around. But, I do agree you can never take one game and tell how the season is going to go.

And Florida returned 1 starter from 2022 on defense, with just 3 returning starters on offense.

Where did they all go? Nfl? Transfer? Bench?

You're just making up insults. Hurts looked nothing like this dude. He was such a prolific runner there was no one you could rightly compare them to start with. You are just pulling that out of your backside. Jalen Hurts won the SEC POY as a true freshman. He was far more dynamic than this guy will ever see.

What part of “without the wheels” did you not understand?

It’s not Napier’s fault two players on field same time. Let’s say special teams staff not paying attention

Does Napier have a ST coordinator?

Everybody is focusing on the offense, but the bottom line is that the Defense allowed Utah's 3rd and 4th string QB's to score 24 points. There were times when they just didn't have the answer. Imagine what the score would have been if Cam Rising had been in this game. So yes, all of Florida's offensive woes and mistakes are a problem, but the Defense has its share as well. This team will be LUCKY to win 7 games:

McNeese- W
Tennessee- L
Charlotte- W
@Kentucky- Tossup
Vandy- W
@South Carolina- Tossup
Georgia - L
Arkansas - Tossup
@LSU- L
@Mizzou- Tossup
FSU- L

I see 3 definite wins, 4 losses and 4 tossups (three on the road), even if they win 3 of those 4 tossup games, that is still six wins. I think it likely they finish at 5-7 or 6-6.
