Chip and Saban under the same roof? Talk about a wealth of insufferable assholes.

It worked with kiffin... But if I'm Saban I wouldn't try my luck twice with jackass failed head coaches as OCs (3 times if you count sark)

Godsey became a favorite of Bill O'Brien when he coached at Tech with O'Leary. Followed O'Leary to UCf and then went with O'Brien to Houston.

With CFB being 8 months away? Is it really "too late in the game"? Spring Practices haven't even started.

It is never too late for a major P5 program to snag a good assistant. If Bama (or tOSU, USC, etc) calls, you pick up the phone regardless of the calendar page.

There's only one man for the job.

Do you have his email address? Asking for a friend...

I couldn't see Kelly accepting a HC job in the South at the college level, no way in hell he'll be OC under Saban. Writer pulled that out of his arse, or Bama is swinging too hard

If they did get Kelly, their offense would suck arse for a year or 2. Those 330lb bruisers trying to run the hurry up and swing blocks

Chip Kelly would be fascinating. I just don't see him being whipping boy for Saban tho
Ain't no way in hell he'd stoop to having to work for Saban lol. He's not in a bind like Kiffin or Sark

I can see you haven't been watching Alabama football lately.

A gump I work with just said they will definitely hire D Craig now as QB coach, and promote the runningbacks coach (he doesn't know his name & neither do I)
please do that Bama.

Burton Burns is an incredible RBs coach and has played a big role in Alabama raiding Louisiana every February, but he's not going to be the OC. Your gump coworker sounds really clueless.

Don't care, I trust Saban to do the right thing.

It's not like Scarborough is any good now. I could run for 100 yards behind that OL

They should snag Lashlee before he gets settled in at UCONN.
