There are a few good BBQ spots in Arkansas. I’d say there’s already better in NWA than Columbia. Wrights is the best in NWA.

Central BBQ will be in Fayetteville within the next couple years and that’s the best in Memphis so it will boost the BBQ rankings

Some James Beard awards hanging in Oxford. Please go ahead and tell me how many Fayetteville has?

Is he head of meth head theft deterrent devices? Shopping cart wrangling devision?

Money hasn't and won't be a problem for Ole Miss.

Like I said you have 4-5 decent bars and a few good restaurants. If you leave the square you feel like you have gone back into the 80s with all the strip malls in Oxford. I’ve been around 20 times and as recently as May 2021 to visit. Girl I was visiting was complaining cause y’all don’t even have a Target. It’s 2021 and the town is so bad off you can’t even support Target. Thanks for supporting Walmart though.

Born and raised in Memphis so it was always a quick trip to go watch my Hogs win a game.

After graduating from the Walton college of Business I had several buddy’s go to work for Walmart Corporate and some with their vendors.

Money has always been a problem at OM. Have you seen your facilities?

Someone joked that Sam’s Club should just sponsor the whole team since the head coach’s name is Sam already

Did she break up with your an Oxford local or something? You have some really odd resentment towards the place

Way to make a fun thread about your last fling. Really weird direction to go with this.

Lmao there is/was no way I was moving from Naples. This isn’t about some chick I’d visit when home.

The target reference was simply to show how far behind the times Oxford, MS is.

Like I said there are no businesses in Oxford to sponsor athletes.

Is your biggest booster still the Tuohys? I guess he could do some KFC/Taco Bell stuff for you.

I’d want to turn the thread if I was an OM fan as well with what little OM has to work with.

I’ll say it again. Have you seen all the strip malls and full city of Oxford? Have you seen your facilities. Money has always been an issue in that town.

Again: a thread about Arkansas' O Line being sponsored by a BBQ restaurant has turned into a vendetta against a town you say is beneath you. I don't think anyone has been turning this thread but you.

Wright's BBQ is the best in Arkansas, and it's not that sugary Missouri shite

nice

Wright's is Texas style

I love Memphis style

and the more you drive east from Memphis, the more you get the added vinegar of North Carolina style

The only thing I have against Wright's is that they weigh the food portions in front of you. If they were a bit lenient then I would go more often.

Arkansas has to rank near the bottom for SEC state BBQ rankings. Maybe ahead of Florida?

I tend to shake my head when Fayetteville is described to be known for good BBQ. It's pretty trash in NWA. Wright's came long and finally gave the area something to really boast, still laggish overall as a region. East Arkansas has much better BBQ for half the price.

It is bad considering it is only four hours from Kansas City.

The BBQ places on the interstate between Little Rock and West Memphis are better.

This shite is no doubt good for the Arkansas program, but I already hate it.

There are national brands/conglomerates who will sponsor Arkansas stuff just to stay in good-graces with Walmart. You already see it with local philanthropy.

Companies like Kimberly Clark and Proctor & Gamble have hundreds of local (NWA) employees and lots of money to burn.

Your kind just can't imagine the village aspect. Forget buying a few kids. A local coalition of businesses ready to advertise is the smart thing. And Walmart subsidized? Every business in NWA may have a poster child.
