"Protectors of the Pit" apparently is the new moniker.

Interested to see if this will become a trend of companies sponsoring position groups.

This is smart. Was worried about the OL getting respect

Who's going to be the first school to allow the players to wear patches?

Before long, they can look like Nascar. Which would be appropriate given the direction of the sport lately.

I do t see why not, it especially makes sense along the lines. Imagine the marketing of groups like the purple people Eaters or the iron curtain for example. and yes I know those are both pro’s but I’m just using them as examples.

That's actually a fantastic idea. Good for those dudes.

Hope they get free food.

I would hope by the end of the summer we've found a way to get OL unit at every college town has an official buffet or whatever

That might be more of a donation than he wants to give.

I cannot think of a more perfect fit. BBQ, Pork, Pig Mascot, Huuuge Coach, Huge OL Human Beings, etc...

So many layers

Coach has actually lost about 40 LBS since arriving.

What’s OM got for sponsors? Chicken on a stick? I know Oxford doesn’t have much else going for it. Maybe some of those strip malls have something?

Chill out. It's a BBQ place. Plenty of them around most of the SEC college towns. They aren't sponsoring the entire team. Just Oline.

Arkansas has to rank near the bottom for SEC state BBQ rankings. Maybe ahead of Florida?

I’m just saying there isn’t much in Oxford to sponsor anybody. Library maybe? Got like 4 bars in the city and a couple good restaurants. Rest of the city is some strip malls. Feel like I’m going back in time every time I go to Oxford.

Also QBs just got sponsored by them as well.

Just wait for Tyson, JB Hunt, Walmart and there hundreds and hundreds of vendors to get involved. Got a buddy that works for Walmart corporate and it’s coming
