I know there's an attraction because both coaches went full retard and made it a close game because they had no idea how to manage the clock, but the 1997 game was pretty damn entertaining.

Why would a non LSU fan list this game. It was only close for a little over a half. Even most LSU fans I would think would list a different one than that win over UGA, like the 01 game against UT, which is my favorite

How can you not love a close game won by a team, that was given no shot, and had their starting QB and starting RB knocked out, before halftime.

That game pretty much sent UT & Fulmer on their downward spiral that continues today... They've had a coupla blips on the radar since but LSU basically killed UT Football that night, IMO...

UT was winning at half time too. I thought probability of reaching the NC game was 99%

I'm an AU fan, but the Florida 12-0-Alabama 12-0 match in 2009 was impressive. I took my brother and 4 Bama friends.
The 2008 game was a little better. (I took 7 Bama fans for face value- I imagine I could have got 400 per scalping, but I'm good to my friends)
I think 1994 Bama-Fla was real good too.
I enjoyed AU over USCe the most as far as AU's games, but it was not a classic game. We were blown out by Fla in 2000, UT nipped us 30-29 in 1997, and we beat UT 38-28 in 2004.

LSU vs Tenn 2001, yep that one still makes me grin. But non bias, this years game was a fun one. Great SEC(grown man) football.
