40 yard time may be the most overrated number in football. Every SEC team has some blazing fast guys that can outrun just about everyone else on the field at any given time... but, how often does a football player run 40 yards in a straight line? Pretty much never.

Dexter McCluster was never all that "fast" in the 40 ... about a 4.58 at the combine. How many times did he get caught from behind? But, it wasn't his straight line speed that made him so good. What made him so good was his ability to cut on a dime, change speeds, etc. Most pure track guys that turn in those ridiculous 40 times can't do that.

The thing that makes Brazil's time so much more impressive is he's a legit 180-190lbs. He doesn't shy away from hits. Kid is going to be a special player in the SEC.

You should post more.
