Southwest conference had 7 conference champions awarded the NC by publications until it was disbanded in 1996. (Starting in the 30s)
The SEC had 24 during that same stretch. And 8 more NCs while you were in the big 12 not collecting any of your own
17 of your 18 titles were in the southwest conference. You should have joined Conference USA if you wanted to brag about southwest conference titles, they might have thought you were cool. This is the SECrant

Kentucky for sure. Always had a great time in Lexington and I would finally have a reason to get excited for basketball season.
The second choice was A&M, but only because my mom grew up in Texas and my uncle went to A&M. Have been to College Station a few times and it holds no appeal whatsoever, although to be fair it has been a while since my last trip there.

Since the premise of this thread is clearly football only, I already root for Kentucky. If we're talking across the board then UK is already a top dog and I'd say Mississippi State.
