The funny thing is the majority of LSU have no idea what to expect this season and I'm sure many have come to accept 8-4 as a possibility but 11-1 is also plausible. It's nothing like the expectations going into last season.

I think 8 is the magic number this year. And 8 is losing to Texas, A&M, Bama, LSU.
But again we will see our team very quickly. The Vandy game will be a chance to reevaluate the team for the season.

I agree.
I would like to add that AU fans should expect a little more from their team. 8-9 wins should be expected IMO. I really like a lot of their talent and the "fit", both offensively and defensively.

No. Unfortunately, that little bitch emotion gets involved when people derive their expectations.
They can present a rational front all they want talking about 7 wins, 7 wins, 7 wins, but deep down in their tiny little contrived brains, they are listening to a little voice that instructs them to breathlessly hope for and expect 10 wins in 2013 for the Rebels.
