Around here the ones that were wearing Florida garb when SOS was coaching there are the same ones that are wearing Bama stuff now. 95% of them couldn't find Tuscaloosa on a map.

Lol, I hear ya! I took me 5 1/2 years. I went to UAT first then transferred. I certainly enjoyed my time at Auburn. But, I was done after a Bachelor's. With my degree, the only reason to get a Master's or PhD would be if you wanted to teach.

You graduated from Bama and became a LSU fan?

Trust me, there were no Bama sidewalk fans during the Dubose or Shula years.

I was a sidewalk fan in those days as I was cheering for a school I hadn't attended at the time. Apparently if you haven't attended the school you cheer for, you're a sidewalk fan.

For all the shite I talk about TAMU, I only know one person (not counting Daniel) who I'd consider a Sidwalking Aggie.

Since you are open about your sidewalking, what makes you such a fan without having attended your university?

Attending a university is a business transaction. Why would you feel obligated to be a fan based on business?

Almost everybody that was born and raised in Kentucky is a UK fan and hardly any of them went to school past the eighth grade.

A friend I work with swears to me that he went to Bama, yet he's a huge Auburn fan. Is that even possible?

Yup. I know a huge Bama fan that went to Auburn (he wanted to be a vet) and I know a huge Auburn fan that went to Clemson.
