Extra snaps for Tua /= extra yards and TDs for Tua

I'm tired of seeing this comparison with the Oklahoma QB. It would be unprecedented to award someone the Heisman trophy with the assumption that he would have better numbers with an equal amount of snaps.

Yeah, probably if he had more snaps, he would have gotten negative numbers on those. It's a good thing he didn't get too many.

Kyler is winning the Heisman on Saturday and that is fine. I have enjoyed watching him play all year. He is a hell of an athlete. Doesn't make Tua any less of player. I wouldn't trade Tua for anybody else including Kyler. I will say that. Tua will have a shot at it next year.

How about we compare the defenses that each have played?

The kid played like 64% of Alabama's offensive snaps.

He'd had MUCH better numbers if he played the 92% that Murray played.

This is the dumbest shite I've ever seen

I see both sides, but he's right, we don't ever give awards based on hypotheticals.

And Kyler is going to win, so that's pretty much that

If saban was an a-hole like Riley and Myer, he would have left Tua in and scored 80 several times this year easily. That's why Murray and Haskins numbers are what they are. Their coaches believe in running up the score on hapless opponents. We can start throwing dabo on that list too.

How much would it have helped if he'd played more against UGA? That's the game that likely cost him. Before that it was his despite Murray's numbers.

I read that only 10 percent of the votes were in before the SECG. Which means 90 percent were still undecided and waited to see the outcome of the championship games. So now they will likely vote for Kyler. Tua still has a slight chance based on second place votes, but I really think Kyler will win it.
