A&M is just a slightly more gay and cultish version of the Longhorns. They’re just open about it. Aggie players jizz onto a pot and burn it in public. Longhorns jizz into a hat and put it on the head of their fellow student and let it dribble out the sides giving them “longhorns”

It’s fricking disgusting if you ask me.

They are Texans. Texas has just as many gays, maybe even more. The whole state is "weird" with their over the top state pride

So if I was explaining this to a five year old I would say:

"Johny's family has two daddies instead of a mom and a dad."

Fake news.

A&M has the #1 campus enrollment as we speak.

Your campus has also been #1 in crimes against women.

My state pride raced away on Hot Wheels.

This is not the NFL. Colleges are allowed to have their own traditions

Aggies are unapologetically weird that care more about the "brand" than winning anything.

I like every weird, quirky, unique tradition from burying the dogs such that they have a view of the scoreboard (assuming they can see out from the grave) to that over-the-top enthusiastic cadet who threatened some SMU cheerleaders with a sabre no less because only the players are allowed on the field.

Give em hell, ya aggies.

This cliche is really quite stupid. The gay jokes are really quite tired and simply lazy and poorly thought out. Yes, the yell leaders are probably justifiable reasons to make fun of A&M, but the gay thing is really stupid. I can guarantee you that as a percentage of the whole, there are probably less gay folks at A&M than at most of the schools in the SEC.

To be precise, Texas has a 28-20 advantage since 1965. Or a win percentage for A&M of 42%. The all time is 32% excluding ties.

From 1984-1994 A&M won 10 of 11 games. This is the outlier in the series which skews the stats. Before 1984 and ever since 1994 Texas has completely dominated the series.

The ONLY difference btwn A&M and every other major public university is…

They believe they have a unique historic tradition that sets them apart

In reality all major public universities have unique histories and most have more interesting traditions

But A&M historically has NOTHING to celebrate.

So over time, they became fixated on doubling down on the same “traditions” that all schools have. And in cult like fashion champion them as if they are uniquely special. In reality most major universities have more fascinating histories.
