I think Auburn is in for a tough year, but they will be back shortly.
Arkansas will have a better year than a lot of people think. I ALMOST put them ahead (or tied them with) Auburn.

Until OU and Texas can field an SEC level defense they will not be viable candidates to win the conference. Granted OU has a good offense so they should be higher….but they are not #2!

Riley and his pick of Number one QBs for the next decade will bring this conference to its knees. Top 10 classes easily turn into top 3 classes with A&Ms SEC recruiting advantage gone. He’s already recruited three consecutive number one QBs, and will continue to have them lining up to play for him.

Does that mean you are finally getting out of the QB transfer business?
Baker Mayfield
Kyler Murray
Jalen Hurts

I would guess so. But wow those guys paved the way for what will be the best decade of QB play ever seen at one school. OU is basically just taking its pick of 5 star offensive players, if grinch sticks around long term and the defensive recruiting continues I’d wager OU is the next dynasty team. Not saying they will do what Alabama has done but a dynasty nonetheless.

Question for the Sooner fans
If you guys have been shredded by the SEC team in Championship games every attempt for the last 20 years, what makes you all think that you are the top team in the SEC? I could see listing yourself at #2 out of hubris, but #1 just makes you a slow study.

Wow, if this game was all about Offense then Ole Miss would have won the conference last year (if we subtract the 6 Pic Game)……see how this works?
Edit: so listen Cookie, sit down, shut the frick up and learn before you get gang raped. Wait until you play the legit talent gauntlet called the SEC conference schedule before you anoint yourself. We all laugh at the powder puff schedule you have been playing!

Shredded is far from the right term. Last LSU game was a murder yes , but all others have been competitive losses or wins. The biggest reason for all that was sec teams having 6 weeks to prepare for the offenses, and far better defensive recruiting. That issue is nearly fixed by the hiring of grinch and OU being back to recruiting blue chip players on defense. All those games you mentioned if ou has even an average defense they win 2-3 NCs in that span. That last LSU game is probably one of the best games of all time if OU had even an average defense. I don’t think anybody was beating that LSU team tho.

So if you want to talk real football you have to understand that all good things don't all come with 5* packages. Tua and Bryce Young were the best of the best and both look like keepers. We just had our best year in a long time with a 3* QB leading the way. Mac Jones just put a royal butt whipping on a number 1, 5*, in Justin Field along the way. Talent is where you are smart enough to find it. And develop it.

Next dynasty ...good one sport
What you will get is backs like Josh Jacobs running right over you as he did in 2018
Dynasty....hell boy you better hope for 9 and 3

Exactly right, good thing Riley is the best QB evaluator in football. The 5 stars coming at all the skill positionsis just the icing on the cake.

He simply plays everything to his offense. He can't put a National Championship defense on the field. The last 3 SEC teams he has played in the playoff did what they wanted and at will. Riley has the same problems he has had since Big game Bob actually won his only big game.

Tell us you know nothing about the conference you’re joining while over-inflating your previous conference.

If not for covid OU is undefeated in the playoffs last year and playing Bama for the NC. OU had a good enough defense to finally win an NC last year.

An absurd assertion, completely without evidence. You should get your head out of the sand.
