I'm not reading this whole thread... but Bama is only giving up 2.44 yards per carry... That's as good or better than our 2012, 2011, and 2009 teams. LSU is giving up 3.09... not bad at all, but not a complete running game domination.
If it wasn't for chubb's 83 yard run in garbage tiem, Bama's D would only be giving up 2.04 yards a carry.
Georgia is the only team to break 100 on us, Syracuse and Auburn both broke 100 on LSU.
We have forced 13 turnovers to LSU's 7.
We have 47 passes broken up to LSU's 23.
We have 33 QB hurries to LSU's 21.
WE have 22 sacks to LSU's 17.
LSU opponents have 34.57% success on 3rd down, Bama's opponents have 28.81% success.
Red Zone D, LSU opponents have scored 93% of the time. 80% TDs, 13% FGs.... Bama's have scored 86.67% of the time. 46.67% TDs, 40% FGs.
LSU opponents averag 23 PPG, Bama's Average 16.7

And for those trying to claim that Georgia wins the East easily if Chubb isn't hurt? Based off what? They are horrible outside of him all around. Their QB was overrated and yet they were going to beat UF?
UF's defense is considered super legit, yet LSU passes and runs all over them, and they suck now?
Harris for UF is a legit dual-threat QB that beat the great UGA team last year with likely UF's worst team in 20 years.

Maybe understanding the intricacies of schedule strength is not one of your talents. Perhaps, just maybe... it could be... that beatdowns can cause teams to drop in the polls?
At the time of the game, Alabama's opponents were ranked in the following positions: 20, UR, 15, UR, 8, UR, 9. Similarly, LSU's opponents were ranked in the following positions: no game, 25, 18, UR, UR, 8.

All conference teams are not created equal. South Carolina and Auburn are both fighting not to finish last in their prospective divisions. UF has a make shift offensive line and their QB was suspended. The win over MSU was decent at best. LSU has all of its most challenging conference games ahead. The loss to Bama is imminent, Ole Miss and Arky always play LSU well and LSU does not have the secondary or defensive coordinator to stop Aggie from scoring 30+ this year.
