38-1 is a great season.
They were unbeatable in a lot of the games I watched and lost the last game the only way they could.
They brought their B game and Whisky brought their A.
UK didn't block out and rebound. They didn't defend the 3 or stop a layup.
I enjoyed watching UK, congratulations on a good season.

I was thinking a few decades ago a team like Marquette or DePaul had a couple of stellar regular seasons but then lost early on in the tournament if I remember correctly.
Not exactly the same situation as Kentucky going deep in the tournament before losing a game but I get the point that you'd rather see the team lose a game or two during the regular season from which they could still recover and go on to possibly win the NC.
