Exactly. How can you have a championship game if the AP #1 isn't invited over an Oklahoma team that LOST their conference championship game. The BCS screwed up royally and they knew it.
And that crystal trophy? You do realize that it only the trophy awarded by the Coaches Poll and not the AP right? The CFP essentially made a system where both polls HAVE to declare the same team national champions.

The AP has been irrelevant since 2003. They corrected the mistake. Alabama didnt win their confrence in 2011 and still went. Besides. LSU was supposed to be in that game according to the ap and the bcs. It was oklahoma that wasnt in it for the ap. And the crystal ball was the bcs national championship trophy. not the coaches poll. 
They agreed on a system. then whined after. Then the ap was dismissed for creating a fuss. No one has since cared about the ap poll. Stop living in the past. And why bring up something from 2003?
