If anyone should have actually shared a title it should have been Auburn in 2004. No one outside of ESPN and USC fans truly believe there was a shared title in 2003. And if anyone does, they should extend the same courtesy to Auburn. The AP was not consistent with their protest by not voting the same way the next year.
