Recruiting and developing players is a big part of coaching.

Signing the best players is quite literally part of coaching at the collegiate level.

It would be every Bama recruiting class since 2006... except 1 player. Andre Smith left early in 2008 as the #6 overall pick.

Bama had to win the NC in 2020 to keep this amazing streak going since guys like Waddle and Surtain were leaving early...and they came through.

And he does this better than anyone, which is my point.

I'm a History major. If I did that I wouldn't ever be able to get out of bed.

sort of like Bear signing 100+ kids yearly.

LSU signed the same number of players and couldn't beat him.

LSU's 2004 class didn't have anyone leave early for the NFL?

Leaving early doesn’t reflect on the recruiting class a class is considered 4 years regardless of early departures.

I believe this is true even for those who only stayed 3 years.

Y'all are the dirtiest program in history. It stands to reason that you would win more.

Maybe, but the really amazing stat is that every single Bama recruit that hasn't transferred since 2007 has a NC ring. Every recruiting class is definitely impressive, but knocking off an entire season for early entrants to the NFL draft and STILL having this streak is insane.
