How many NC has this group won in the last 25 years? last 50 years? in any of the big 3 sports. Notice how far they all have fallen between the 50 year mark and the 25 year mark.
The do the same with the SEC

You keep telling yourself that.

Keep in mind an osu fan is sitting here on a board for sec fans. Just another reason why it doesn’t matter how many teams big ten has, obsession will still be over the SEC. Big ten is still the little brother to the sec.

I mean we’d still have all the championships going forward. So they can all form a collection of losers if they want.

This is a fair point, but history has shown that this kind of thing is cyclical, at some point it will turn, and the huge changes occurring are likely to cause that. Luckily, OU and Texas are going to the SEC and that will keep the SEC as the top conference no matter what the others do.

You can argue that if the SEC had just stayed at 10 they'd still be the best. Would still have 5 of the top 10 most valuable CFB programs and 6 of the top 12.

Will it? Over 70% of blue chippers in the 2023 class are from southern states. Demographics don't lie either.

Hell i’m offended he actually thinks Texas is a bigger fish than A&M. Yeah, back when y’ all werent a .500 team for twenty years. You came hat in hand to SEC because because your football program was dying on the vine courtesy of A&M in the SEC. You’re a bit player who will continue to be ,500 the next 10 years.

Ohio state will always look up to BAMA, and other sec schools.

Wait until the NIL money starts really flowing - most SEC schools don't have deep enough pockets to compete with some of the schools listed

That’s where you’re wrong. It’s not about who has more money, it’s about who’s willing to spend what they’ve got, where the SEC schools will run away. Unless these kids start getting paid more than NFL players, the SEC will always have more rich alumni that care enough to hand their money over

That’s dumb.

I thought the Big 10 already told OU no bc of academics.

Not sure why facts offend you.

People who have a lot of money are not stupid with that money. They will help but not as much as you think
Also NIL is going to unbalance teams. When there are select players making a lot of money and the vast majority making very little, then jealousy will rear its head and divide the team.

The big10 lose prestige and the SEC would be happy.
