Assuming the win is not a blowout - and it won't be - I see Georgia dropping at most to 12th or 13th and Missouri rising at most to 17th-18th. For those of you keeping score at home, that's a 2 loss team ranked 4-6 spots higher than a undefeated team that beat them. That will probably carry into the BCS.

If Missouri goes on to get into a three-way tie with UGA and UF, they have no chance whatsoever of being in the right spot of the rankings to get into the SECCG.

Sucks to be on the outside looking in at the beginning.

Mizzou fans aren't even talking about winning the East. Just want to go to a bowl. If they beat UGA that's good. But UGA is hurt that's why people think Mizzou can win. Now if they win 2 out of the next 3 games then you can start a thread like this.lol. Remember Mizzou still have to play a tough Tenn and TAMU team. Plus Play at Ole Miss. Doubt if anyone is picking Mizzou to win the East. Most people pick Mizzou to have between 7-9 wins.

Hoe does a B1G team get into the SEC Championship anyway?

Weird.

why does mizzou have to wait to start threads like this? aTm has been blowing smoke for years and haven't accomplished anything. mizzou has a much better program than the ags, just had a rough first year.

I think Mizzou has a great chance of beating UGA on Saturday, but I just don't think they will beat both UF and SCe, and definitely don't think they'll beat the winner of the west (Bama, LSU, or A&M).

But that said, I'd love to see it happen if LSU isn't the team that comes out of the west. If LSU wins the west, then frick Mizzou.

Just my two cents.

Yeah they do, Georgia would be 10-2, Florida 10-2 and Missouri 11-1 at season's end. BCS would favor Missouri.

Which will be a fricking awesome way to give LSU a cakewalk into the BCS Championship.

You're crazy man. If you don't think Mizzou fans would be thrilled regardless of rankings, you're wrong. Sure, some will troll and some will genuinely be upset, but by and large, most will just be excited with the win. Playing in the SECCG much less any other BCS bowl was beyond a thought going into the year. Got to earn it.

Hoping to see a good game from both teams.

I certainly won't consider it a loss, if Mizzou wins!!

If they win. That is a pretty big win, regardless of where the system ranks them.
