USCe fans have no say in anything after that game last night. Vandy is horrible. At the same point in the game where you were trying to pull out a narrow victory, we had our 2nd and 3rd string guys getting reps and stil destroying them. To try and justify USCe being anywhere near Ole Miss is just ignorant.

Two ranked wins > 0 ranked wins

Also Vanderbilt has beaten Ole Miss 38 times. I know you have to stretch your imagination a bit, but can you tell us Gamecock fans how to deal with ALMOST losing to them?

We've beaten two ranked teams.

Ole Miss' best victory is a toss up between Vandy and Boise

We've nearly lost to Vanderbilt each year for he past few years. We played horribly, but this is par for the course with Vandy.

I'll accept that Vandy's gotten better, but those stats, though.

Since Vandy seems to be the hinge point of an argument for OM > SC, I feel like I should step in. OM stomped on us playing our 3rd (maybe 4th) best QB. The playcalling has changed drastically to play to our strengths. The opening kickoff return coupled with Patton started and other factors has Vandy actually feeling like they can compete too, something not true of the Ole Miss game.

The Vandy team who played OM should be a double digit underdog to the one who played SC. Trying to apply this fun little transitive property is difficult/ridiculous enough if the team used as baseline did not change much. In this case, it's a joke. The Vandy team that gave SC a fight last night is far and away better than what OM got to steamroll.

I just came here to blurt out that Georgia is better than all of your favorite teams regardless of pass defense and instead I came into a hot LZ.

Abort aproach, Dawg1, this here is a MS/SC shite storm

We're still making our rounds for "Most hated East team".

We're not close yet, but we're making strides.

Not happening. Not even in my dreams did I expect to see that much improvement in the team.

Let Ole Miss fans have their fun. It's September. We'll compare records in December.

Pretty sure it's all Mississippi. There's a reason that people from Alabama, West Virginia, and Louisiana all learn the phrase "Thank God for Mississippi" at a very young age.

That is downright embarrassing. I'd rather lose to Vandy than live in that state.
