We went 11-0 and outscored our SEC opponents 547 to 214. They won just about every player award, 18 postseason awards. 8 All-Americans. 13 All-SEC. Computers, ESPN, USA Today all rank them the greatest team. No team will ever accomplish that again.

I know you are deliberately trolling, but this comment lets me repost this gem:

We can all agree (even the LSU faithful) that 2019 LDU ranking is unduly inflated.

2017 bama way too high. And speaking of, how is 2017 UGA ranked 11 spots lower?

If Tua plays the whole game he would have thrown for 450 yards and we put 45 to 52 points on you. Thats why. Hurts was really struggling the last quarter of that season. Daboll wanted Tua to play as early as Mississippi State game that year.

2020 Alabama was dealing with the same issues and limitations as every other team in college football that year.

There has not been enough of the playoffs to do history

To have SMU, Boise , and Arizona State from this year. In the list shows the straws they are picking

The only team in the list that has an argument over that Clemson team is 2019 LSU. The rest are pure garbage.

said games were also held in stadiums Bama has historically dominated

They dominated the empty stadiums in 2020 with opted out players and half them out week to week with covid.

This is incorrect I'm pretty sure they had zero opt-outs when like every other team lost multiple key players on their rosters for opt out reasons. That's why it's laughable

They also had zero covid cases. Dr. Fauci should have recommended the country follow whatever was being done in Tuscaloosa. Ohio st had 14 out for just the championship game. Bama beat the odds and played against depleted teams all year

Relying on ESPN as the definitive source for sports rankings is like relying on People magazine to rank the best presidents in American history. For instance, their recruit rankings are always hilariously off the mark. A staff full of lazy researchers.

For real. They didn’t even play a full season with all players on opposing teams.

LOL. That's not how you do these things. I guess 2021 Bama should be number 5 or so because if Jameson and Metchie hadn't torn their ACLs and such.

Surely you are on some drugs! I know you love your team but that 'mary-huanah' smoke has clouded your brain.

buuuuuut he didn't. If we're playin the make believe hypothetical game then put UGA 2023 and 2024 as 1 and 2 because if Gunner had played the whole time we'd have never lost a game as evidenced by his one half of play last weekend. See how dumb that sounds? Although coming from you it's par for the course.

no shite, which is why they are ranked higher than they should be. One possession win over a barely .500 ATM team, squeaked out a last minute win against a 4 loss MSU, double digit loss to AU (quality loss though, AU was really good at the time), and an OT win in title game. Great resume overall, title winning resume...but the 7th best team in the last 10 years? Absofrickin lutely not. And I'd bet that most bama fans would agree.
