Here's the top 10

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Oklahoma
4. Florida State
5. LSU
6. Ohio State
7. Stanford
8. Michigan
9. Tennessee
10. Notre Dame

Seems pretty reasonable to me. Click here for the full list.

Downvote if you're butthurt that your team missed the top 10.

Also: inb4 Vols too high/overrated

I can't wait for Tennessee to completely shite the bed so we can see all of the "they're young" posts for the third straight year.

Preseason top 10 means nothing. One time recently we were number 1 mid season. It was fun. Didn't mean anything. Finish the season that way and it is impressive. Oh wait this is a Tennessee thread. Have your fun now ??

Don't shoot the messenger... we may finish the season unranked for all I know but I doubt it's likely.

Nice list. Really agree with number 1. Bama is poised for another championship year. Championship U.

UT will lose 4 in a row starting with Florida. Sgt. Carter will be history after this season. I think Carter and Gus are both gone after 2016.

Every year a preseason top-10 SEC team finishes unranked. That position, usually reserved for Auburn, is occupied by the Creamsickles this season.

I actually clicked on the link and listened what the PI predicted for each team in terms of what the Power Rankings predicted and their own list. I don't put much faith in any preseason polls and nobody should. However I think they should be logical and this simply was total BS to me. Quickly didn't make any sense: example 1, Bama was predicted by the index to win 8.9 regular season games and had the 3rd best chance to win the SEC per the index yet were ranked #.!. Clemson ranked #2 had the second best chance to win the ACC and finally Ohio State was ranked higher than Michigan although UM had a higher probability to win the Big. Maybe I'm a moron, so if someone can explain these anomalies to me, I would be grateful. As i said earlier I don't put any credence in preseason predictions, but this crap made no sense to me unless the rankings were based on human votes and the index is based on the ESPN computer. Neither of which I would give much or any weight. I do remember the SEC writers at media days last year predicting Auburn to win the SEC, but Bama to win the west division. At least I get how the writers can be illogical if as a group they think two teams are close in the same division.

Oregon Ducks way too low @20. There is not 19 teams better than the Ducks this upcoming year!

Boy ole Butch going to be on the hotseat after all this preseason love. I mean who did TN beat that was even decent last year UGA? Heck UGA was a patsy only benefiting from yet another pathetic schedule.
