And what do you base this prediction on?

Probably emotions

Holy shite. A Tennessee just asked this. Have you heard about Nico?

I believe the Nico situation is well documented. Does Bama have a QB? It’s a legit question. Ty Simpson hasn’t done anything, the other two are unknown

Says the Texas hick who was given the softest SEC schedule possible and still lost to an average UGA tea, twice.

At Bama we knew the problem going into last season, we had a bad QB who won games in spite of his inaccuracy and lack of ability to read defenses pre snap. So, these FIRST YEAR COACHES felt obligated to stay with the QB even though he was lousy at times.

You will never be in Bama's class in football son. No wonder Texas AM left the Big 12 with dingy fans like you.

No one knows. He could be worse than Milroe or the second coming of Mac Jones for all we know. If anyone believes practice reports, he apparently has performed well and the OC Grubb was quoted as "If we had a game tomorrow, he'd be the starter". So whatever that's worth...

No way Bama is #2, lost too much and new QB and on the road in Athens which they have never done under Kirby

I could definitely see this happening but if Bama can somehow go 3-1 through the @Georgia, vs. Vandy, @ South Carolina, and @ Missouri stretch
of our schedule we should be 6-1 at that point with nothing but home games left until the regular season finale @ Auburn. We would then need to finish 4-1 thru those last 5 games.

I don't see us finishing at #2 but I guess the prognosticators see us going 10-2 and getting into the SEC title game and winning it.

Huh? Do you SEC?

There is a reason Bama has not brought in a lot this year - most everyone is back (with pretty much the best skilled players - minus the albatross at QB).

I don't get this. I thought the more talented teams should get the nod over the lesser talented teams.
For an example LSU. Why isn't that team with one of the top talented teams not be listed as one of the College Football Playoff's 12 Teams?

The only way to keep a top talented team out of the 12 playoff's teams might be the HC isn't good enough to get his team to be 1 of the playoffs 12 teams.

Except that coach made a 4 team playoff twice.
