Pitt being so far below Pitt is pretty bad. ESPN loves bad math just look at QBR.

Thinking back though it took 2 miracle catches by SC WR's and Nuss missing a wide open AA on a 5 yard throw for USC to win that game.

FPI is a shite metric where they claim it's stats based but then ESPN puts in their own values to get the results they want.

SP+ which is behind the ESPN paywall is much better. But I like to use F+ now that it's back. It's a combination of SP+ and FEI. Both are opponent adjusted and fully stats based.
