Not even the same. Pre-poll era is one thing. Claiming titles during the poll era that aren’t AP/Coaches is ridiculous. And that includes Alabamas BS 1941 claim

Seems like the article you are linking to just talks about the most "unlikely" national champions in history.
It doesn't have anything to do with Auburn's bogus claims other than to rank the two actual ones they have as being among the most "unlikely"....

And I would gladly unclaim 1941 for Bama. The rest are rock solid legit based on the criteria of the day.
