SEC Rushing stats
I thought Tank was supposed to be the best rusher in the league, dude's not even the top rusher on his own team. Anyone have any insight into why this guy isn't really performing up to the hype? Preseason, they made it seem like he was going to have 1500 yards this year or something.

Believe he's playing injured IRRC. But playing against Georgia didn't help his stats either.

What do you mean? He scored the most hyped up Tudder to cut the lead to 14. Kid acted like he won the Super Bowl by running it in on us.
edit: LMAOOOO I touched a nerve. Sorry Tank celebrated mediocrity, like all Auburn folk do.

I mean, that's fair for him to celebrate that. You guys have only given up 2 TDs this year, right?

Neither did playing against Georgia State.

He looks bad this year plain and simple. He’s not hitting holes or running with confidence, and relying purely on his athleticism. He has great athleticism but that doesn’t work in the SEC

There is some back story to that. He was trying to show the coaches that he wouldn't be denied that close to the EZ. Against Penn St and later against Uga they chose passing for a TD and it pissed him off. Choosing passing when we know we have no reliable go to receiver. I would choose running Bigsby over Passing that deep in the red zone just about every time.
Especially after a couple of pass attempts already failed.
For the record, majority of fans agree.

So... all gas no brakes with low football IQ? Do you think it's an issue with getting the timing down or what?

Have you seen our offensive line play?

It is a little easier for a QB imo as they have 10 guys blocking rather than 9 and they can take off on a pass play and not have a defender near them for 10 yards. Put Emory at halfback and he won't be near Tank's stats.

That makes sense then
When I was rewatching the game I was blown away with the emotion and just chalked it up to some personal beef/jawing between Tank and the D.

Yep, but dumbass Bobo will still be allergic to running the ball in the redzone every week.

Our OL was just as bad last year but he was finding holes better. Somethings just not right this year, not sure if it’s confidence or some sort of physical ailment

Interesting... I wonder what happened

He was close to transferring. Really hurt himself staying there.

The term “sophomore slump” exists for this reason.
Great freshman year gets defensive coordinators attention. A poor passing game allows for a stacked box keying on Tank.
It is what it is. Until we get better upfront and develop a downfield threat, it’s going to be tough sledding.

Hendon Hooker has the highest QBR in the SEC and #5 in the nation.

Aren't you all kind of struggling with recruiting right now? How realistic is it that you all will develop your line? Sorry for so many questions, I legit don't know shite about your team other than the fact that Nix likes to run around like a freak

Who cares? This isn't about QBR, it's about rushing. I'm a Kentucky fan, you think I give a shite about passing?
Edit: That's a self-deprecating joke. Not a complete doucher
