I always think it is weird when reporters, especially young ones, call the HC by his first name when asking a question instead of saying "Coach."
Not sure if I am of an age where I just don't like kids on my lawn anymore or not, but it just seems disrespectful in that setting.

Well, that is entirely incorrect and par for the course for basically every take you have ever had.
It is likely generational, but it was much more rare to not hear a HC addressed as Coach during a presser or interview outside of the last half decade.

He makes 12 million dollars a year, his job is to coach football, he's given and endless amount of NIL money and has brought in an insane amount of talent, and he got beat by 30 points to a team that got beat by a team that also lost by 30 points this week. They aren't even a top 25 team at this point. They can call him Mike if they want to. They should call him fricktard or a criminal
