24 hours before kick off. A little after 6:30 this evening should be the time. And you know they're going to wait until the last second.

The court ordered LSU and the SEC to roster the players.

What steps must LSU, the NCAA, or the SEC take to show they are following the current ruling?

This boggles my mind that we’ve reached the point where a local judge is literally ordering a university to give a guy a spot on their football team’s roster.

Someone please point to what law gives a judge this power. I’m asking this honestly because I’m not a lawyer. What law gives this judge such sweeping power?

Not sure Harris will play for LSU this season but Wright has been practicing and if he's on the roster, I'd be he gets snaps. Not like he has to learn the playbook.

My guess LSU had an agreement in place and judge is saying go through with it

Which law? I’m asking which law gives a judge the power to compel a university to give anyone a spot on their football team’s roster.

I joked about it in another thread, but can I go find a judge and have them force Alabama or Auburn to give me, a guy in his mid-50s, albeit with 5 years of eligibility left, a spot on their roster?

I've heard that. Does anyone have a copy of the verbiage form the order? If they did thats the first time LSU has been brought directly into this case.

I don’t have a link or a copy. But I have WJOX in Bham and they’re talking about this right now. They said the judge’s order enjoined LSU to give these guys a spot on their roster.

I still don’t know what gives him such power though.

That's why the SEC has filed a federal lawsuit, and will retroactively enforce penalties.
