Miller isn’t safe from getting fired by a long shot. He just got a year stay of execution.

The NCAA needs to be lit up.

They’ve known what’s been going on in college basketball for years.

LSU will have six days between games. Let’s see who’s on the LSU sideline in Nashville Friday.

That isn't impossible, but what is going to happen between now and then to change things?

Sean Miller adamantly denied he had said what was reported, right? And then it was proven to be false (though still other bad stuff).

The ESPN report (which prompted his suspension) was a nothingburger. The federal investigation still has him in the crosshairs

Right - and as soon as it came out he told them he didn't say that stuff and basically took his stand. He lived to fight another day, but obviously all the other stuff is the real long term issue for him.

But that is why the suspension came and went.

Yep, Schlabat up that article without concrete verification and got burned. Helped Miller get another year. But, the trial brought up his misdeeds.

I mean I guess it would be an exaggeration to say there’s a 99.99% chance that he’ll be fired, but I don’t think it’s much of an exaggeration.

Alleva just gave Wade a big eff you. No way Wade sticks around when the dust settles one way or another.

LSU Administration chose to put LSU over a loose cannon of a Head Coach. LSU could never trust him again after he's stupidity at the level he displayed.

Why the hell is the head coach discussing the shite he discussed? That's what you have asst's and booster for.

.

That is the only good that could come out of this. But very, very unlikely.

Good point. I’m not jumping the gun either way, though. I’m also not throwing myself in front of a train for Wade. Year 2, and he hasn’t won anything yet, and already we’re talking FBI. Maybe not worth it for a program who in 20 years won three SEC titles and went to a Final Four while being squeaky clean.
