Funny. Because I remember in 2010 when he rushed for over 100 yards in his first start, the broadcasters said Nick Saban was quoted as saying to Lacy to get his grades up and he'll have a spot. Seems like he chose Saban over Miles.

I still think T. Rich has a bright future. I do think he is having a hard time with the playbook. (I hope anyways). He has had what 3 OC's in 2 years ?

I have a man crush on TRich. I was positive he would be the next AP.

Wrong. He couldn't have chosen Saban over Miles because he never had an offer from Miles.

When healthy, Lacy looked more explosive than TRich in 11. He got hurt towards the end of 11 and didn't start to look full strength until the end of 12.

Lsu did fine with our 2012 rb corp of Ware, Ford, Hill , Hilliard, Magee, Blue.

Remember when LSU fans swore up and down that Lacy would MAYBE be the fourth string back for y'all?

I've tried watching every game for Lacy and Trent. This year. I think I've watched all of them. Colts are a little more predictable with the play calling than the Packers. However, Trent seems to have a hard time finding the hole. I'm a little dumbfounded. However, I wish they'd use him in screens and create spaces for him where he can make people miss instead of up the middle.

I feel the same way. I really don't get why he is not running wild - it's like he is not hitting holes like he should. Confusing.

TM7 wouldn't be a good outside corner in the NFL. As a Safety/Nickel, where he can roam, I think most thought he'd be good.

You do realize it's harder to play slot cb than outside, right? Also TM7 is a good cover corner. He never gave up one td in coverage in his two years at lsu.

If true then he's just as retarded as everyone says he is.

By the way, Saban loved Lacy - thought he'd be one of the best. Always spoke very highly of him - even when he was backing up the other guys.

The few games I watched( Indy) he didn't have great vision. He was to fast to the line and then not quick enough through. Coaches teach rbs to be slow to( hole) then fast through( hole). He didn't need much vision at bama because of how dominant Bama's oline was.

I will say Colts OL isn't the best. It's incredibly mediocre.

A Bama fan will have to say yeah or nay on this, but I thought at one point, they had a remedial program that could technically get questionable non qualifiers in.

ELacy wasn't gonna qualify academically. He then committed to bama and over 1 summer got 4-5 credit( or some odd number of credits that aren't available through just summer school).
What's the point of offering a recruit that had little chance of qualifying?

So that's the excuse your retarded insiders use for this gargantuan recruiting miss? Okay. Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Gotta admit, I thought Lacy would be a journeyman sort of runner in the NFL, getting 50 ypg or so and valued as much for his blocking as for his offensive output. He had some really nice moves -- the spins were awesome -- but I questioned whether he had the athleticism and vision to be an outright star. Looks like he's proving me very wrong.

You clearly aren't understanding this. There was no way E lacy was gonna qualify. The summer classes weren't gonna give him enough credits to be eligible.
Like I said before. Ware, Hill, Hilliard, ford ,Magee, and blue means we didn't miss on much.
