He was a bit overrated because he played his best two games in Bama's biggest two games. He goes through spells where he trys to run like a scat back, but when he utilizes his strength he's a damn good running back.

I'm curious to see how his spin move translates to the next level. Always thought he would get rocked at least once while doing it in college, but it never happened.

Murray is underrated because he played his worst in two of Georgia's 3 biggest games.

On sports talk radio here in Atlanta before the draft a host was talking him up as being a better prospect than Richardson because of how well he played against Georgia in the Dome. For a lot of casual fans of other teams those were the only two games they saw him play last year. He was a solid back (very good, not great) until those last two games where he took it to another level.

That's what was meant by the "bit overrated" comment.

So casual fans overrated him?

Tyler Bray was adequately rated because he was retarded all the time.

vs ND- 7ypc and 1TD rushing
Lacy surpassed the YPC total 13 times during his three year career. He had more TDs 9 times.

vs UGA- 9.05ypc, 2TD
Lacy's best overall game probably yet still had three other games with a better YPC and more than a handful of games with as many or more TDs

For the two games, Lacy averaged 8YPC versus a 7ypc year to year average. Not exactly a different level, except that they were viewed by more people.

Back in the saddle. Went out for a few beers. How where my jimmies rustled if im the one who started the thread you stupid fricks?

Truth is that he is a big back that lacks the ability to be an every down back in the nfl. Book it.

This dumbass is trying to make a point, failing and getting flamed by almost everyone on the SECr from what I can tell.

Which is generally what seems to happen whenever he posts, now that I think of it...

I think Eddie Lacy's YouTube highlights may have beat me to the punch though.

Perhaps you could make the same arguement @ virtually every back that ever played in college...

Lacy was a beast. Great line or not, to discount his athleticism and talent as "overrated" is ignorant.
