It takes the right coach AND the right program.
Some programs are just mediocre regardless of Coach.
Obviously a bad coach can drag down even a program capable of winning National Championships. We’ve seen every program struggle at some point. Just very few can win big.

The Bear had 1 losing season in his entire career and it was at Texas A&M. 
That program will never win another national championship in football.

This thread got me to turn on the replay of the LSU raping of aTm again. After that shite attempt to hurt Joe on the first play, LSU commenced to humiliate aTm on live TV.
I enjoy watching it more every time I see it.
Mond looked so stupid compared to Joe out there. Texas A&M will never win anything with that bum.

Not possible in 1956. Poll champions were decided before bowl games in that era. Bible’s championship was not contemporaneously awarded, but many years later, and shared with three other teams.

I’ve never heard of either of those guys and neither has my grandpa. We’re currently the national champions, so no problems “winning a title at LSU”.
We have more national championships since 2000 than A&M has 10-win seasons LMAOOOOOO

You’re absolutely right. That idiot is too stupid to win a championship. He has the physical gifts to play and probably practices really well but can’t read a defense to save his life, gets flustered easily and throws the ball too damn hard and is almost always high with the ball placement. He had several throws, one intercepted by Delpit, that no receiver was within 10 yards of where he threw it. He’s another Anthony Jennings. He only beat LSU because the refs gave aTm every favorable call in Jimbo’s first home game against LSU in order to boost Texas eyes on SEC games to pad the numbers of viewers for contract negotiations with the networks and ESPN.
