From Birmingham-based meteorologist, James Spann:
quote:

James Spann @spann
BAMA/LSU: For the biggest college game so far this year, the weather will be cool and dry in Tuscaloosa Saturday (2:30p CT kickoff). After a low in the 30s, the high will be in the 55-60 degree range with sunshine in full supply.

Glad they stuck with the 2:30 kickoff. It's going to be a perfect fall day for football.

I'd bring an umbrella and shorts and t-shirts, if I were y'all.
Rarely is a forecast correct 6 days out

If that is correct you couldn’t ask for better weather for this game and time slot.

FYI since it looks like it’ll be sunny, if you are sitting on the east side of the stadium, take your sunglasses for pre-game and the first half.

Will it be dark enough for a light show?

The only thing guaranteed to suck after dark is that gawdawful light show we'll have to endure.

The second half will be played under the veil of darkness and crimson LEDs. This your first CBS game after daylight savings ends?
