Early SEC Softball thoughts?

Georgia and Tennessee seem to be the class of the SEC. Dawgs have swept both MSST and A&M. Beaten their last 4 opponents 32-0 or something.
Kentucky seems good. Looks like Bama is on their way to another disappointing year

I haven’t followed a ton with all the other sports going on and LSU baseball being so good, but I feel like I rarely ever hear that our softball team has lost a game. Are we good this year? Or is it just early?

My thought is that we must really suck at baseball if you want to talk softball

Alabama can't score. Pitching sucks and there doesn't seem to be any improvement going forward.

Vols owning everyone per the usual.

Nationally, OU is the epicenter for softball and the momentum that used to be in the SEC seems to have swung to the west.
I'm guessing NIL has affected this.
SEC better get its act together and figure out how to work NIL for women's sports.
UF has a player named Falby. Last year I noticed how often she seemed to get stranded after getting to first and finding a way to advance to second. She's good, very fast, can make things happen with her speed. But UF's offense is generally pretty bad once they start facing better pitching. Players like that will start transferring to go somewhere like OU where they can slap, bunt, etc, get on base, knowing the rest of the lineup can push them around to score.
I think SEC softball is in a bit of trouble. I can see some of these talented, younger players, transferring if the current trends continue. That would pretty much seal the SEC's fate from center of power nationally to 3rd or 4th best conference.
