Except when Ole Miss touched them in the Swamp.
Every team can be beaten.

Off the top of my head both of those schools have a better claim at DBU
Lsu has dlineu( first rd dlineman 5/8 years) and DBU( 2 straight Thorpe and Bednarik winner at db)

We could put together a hell of an offense:
Mallet, D Mac, Cobi, J Wright, DJ Williams, Felix Jones, Peyton Hillis, etc.
Defensively, not as many.

Offense I am taking Georgia or Auburn. Defense, LSU or Bama.

There are plenty of Alabama players from the mid-2000s who have had solid NFL careers for a long time, including Charlie Peprah, Roman Harper, Mark Anderson, and Wallace Gilberry. Because of this, I think we'd have a lot of depth on defense. My roster would look something like this:
QB: McCarron
RB: Lacy, Richardson, Alexander, Yeldon, Ingram
WR: Julio Jones, Amari Cooper, Tyrone Prothro
TE: Michael Williams, OJ Howard
LT: Andre Smith, Cyrus Kouandjio, James Carpenter
LG: Chance Warmack
C: Antoine Caldwell
RG: Barrett Jones
RT: DJ Fluker, Mike Johnson
DE: Marcel Dareus, Jesse Williams, Mark Anderson, Wallace Gilberry,
DT: Terrence Cody, Josh Chapman
LB: Courtney Upshaw, DeMeco Ryans, Dont'a Hightower, CJ Mosley, Rolando McClain, Nico Johnson
CB: Dee Milliner, Dre Kirkpatrick, Javier Arenas
S: Mark Barron, Charlie Peprah, Roman Harper, HaHa Clinton-Dix, Landon Collins, Rashad Johnson
24 guys are 1st-team All-Americans or 1st round draft picks (assuming HaHa and CyKo go in the first round this year)

Its A&M - absolutely no question.

I don't know how you do it...but you do.
You took an argument that you're probably on the right side of and made yourself sound ridiculous. __U isn't decided in 2 years...not even 10. Ingram and Trent were back to back first round picks. Alabama ain't RBU.

Idk if they would win this thing but Alabama's team is the most interesting. Take the 2011 defense and carefully cherry pick some other guys throughout the years to improve some areas and seriously...not that many points would be scored. Same with LSU's 2011 D.
I think people are really underestimating how ridiculous Alabama's offensive line would be. And with a prime Trent, Lacy, Alexander Alabama would be amazingly dominant where SEC football games are won. They aren't known for having the best skill guys but Julio and whoever else fits here would be icing on the cake. AJ could game manage till his heart was content.
I might go as far as saying Alabama would be fairly boring compared to the other top teams here but I think they'd grind out the wins they needed.

Seriously, Matt Jones, Dmac, and Joe Adams on the field at the same time? That's just nasty.
We might have actually won one of those SECCG if we could have had these three on the field at the same time.

The correct answer is Florida with Darrell Jackson, Travis Taylor, Aaron Hernandez, Jabar Gaffney, Percy Harvin and Tebow on the field together
