Alabama has had Saban longer, so we get him and nothing more need be said.

SEC 1st-Round Picks Since 2009 (Last 5 years)

A&M - 1 (Luke Joeckel)
Missouri - 1 (Sheldon Richardson)

Anything before the 2013 draft from Missouri or A&M is not an SEC 1st Round pick.

Miami:

Brandon Harris
Phillip Buchanon
Devin Hester

Off the top of my head both of those schools have a better claim at DBU

If dead guys and return specialist can play
Patrick Peterson
Mo Claiborne
Eric Reid
Craig Steltz
Laron Landry
Tyrann Mathieu
Corey Webster
Chris Hawkins
Corey Webster
Jonothan Zenon
Chevis Jackson
Ron Brooks
Randall Gay
Ryan Clark
Brandon Taylor
Danny McCray
Tharold Simon

And, currently LSU has the most defensive backs in the league. Good job dumbass

Just for fun, here's Georgia Tech. The rest of the team is probably Miss St level, but good luck stopping Calvin Johnson with a great QB throwing to him and Bay Bay on the other side.

QB - Joe Hamilton (just barely sneaks in time-wise)
RB - Tashard Choice
RB - Jonathan Dwyer
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Demaryius Thomas
WR - Dez White/Kelly Campbell
OL - Nat Dorsey (4th Round)
OL - Mansfield Wrotto (4th Round)
OL - Andrew Gardner (6th Round)
OL - Cord Howard (All ACC)
C - Sean Bedford (All ACC)

DE - Anthony Hargrove
DT - Vance Walker
DT/DE - Derrick Morgan
DE - Michael Johnson
LB - Keyaron Fox
LB - Philip Wheeler
LB - Daryl Smith
CB - Mario Butler
CB - Kenny Scott
S - Morgan Burnett
S - Dawan Landry

Our 2011 defense alone would be able to handle most all star offenses. Is it really fair to let us pick other players as well?

Imagine putting Jarret Johnson opposite of Upshaw, playing DeMeco on that defense...

If we go by their best years in college, Bama's D would shut down most offenses.

Our O would be interesting. The OL would probably be the best, then Julio/Cooper with AJ throwing to them and all our backs, but still it'd probably be 5th-7th in terms of offenses.

Like someone said though you would have Saban coaching that would be the true difference maker. But like I said this 10-15 year crap is only to get the desired outcome the OP wanted.

how about the team with the most players in the NFL......LSU

Instead of "most players" in NFL, look at highest coverage of positions in NFL. If you have 6 defensive ends and zero centers or guards, then it would be a horrifically unbalanced team.

Yup. That's why LSU would struggle IMO. We have a shitload of guys in the League... but we're so imbalanced it's ridiculous.

That said we really need a better defined cut-off point. I just realized that Kevin Faulk was exactly 15 years ago, which would obviously help our odds a lot

Does anyone really have to do research?
Alabama's 2011 defense requires few changes, if any.
I'd have to do research to figure out Alabama's offense and Special Teams.

With the 2011 Alabama defense or an even better starting lineup, no other combination of other teams' offensive players would be able to score 21+ points. Those teams would need major help from their defense and special teams to score more than 21.

Yes, yes they would.
