quote:You've got it backwards ...The most relevant claim is which school does the individual claim, or represent.
In almost every case, the school that gets to claim you is the one you got your bachelors from,
You can't hold it against an individual who realizes their path to success is not defined by a college degree. Going to college is about getting an education, a small part of which involves going to class.
TLDR ... Stop while you have the chance!!!
Walter "the most trusted man in America" Cronkite was the voice, and force, behind many of The University of Texas ads up until his passing, Him earning America's trust had very little to do with a college degree.
Michael Dell was a pre-med major that started his own business (not computers) as a student, and after earning $200,000 in his first year of business, dropped out of the University of Texas at age 19. He started a computer business that year that evolved to Dell Computer. His net worth is ~ $124 Billion. An undergraduate degree wouldn't have done that much for him.
Dr. John Goodenough earned a BS at Yale and his PhD from the University of Chicago, and was a professor of mechanical engineering and materials science at The University of Texas at Austin.
At UT, he worked on research on ionic conducting solids and electrochemical devices, wanting to study materials for batteries to help create electric vehicles. He created the lithium-ion battery, which led to the wireless revolution and put electronic devices in the hands of millions of people worldwide.
In 2019, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, at age 97, the oldest person to win a Nobel prize. Earning the Nobel Prize is far more important than where he earned an undergraduate degree.
"John’s work and commitment to our mission are the ultimate reflection of our aspiration as Longhorns , ' that what starts here changes the world ' .”
UT Honored him by lighting the tower with "Li+".

What Farrah & Jayne brought to the table could never be learned in college in a 100 years.

This post is full of “famous” people that need descriptions after their names. I don’t think that is what famous means.

I thought Jon Hamm transferred and graduated from Missouri after he was involved in the death of that pledge.
