Do yall not have a 5* 2 deep? Saban slacking.

This is three straight years of horrible injury luck at linebacker for Alabama. This might be the worst one yet.

Not to mention that we already lost McMillon for the year. Losing both the Mike and Sam is pretty fricking terrible.
The studs in the trenches will compensate for losses at LB.
Give a top talent clear running lanes to make tackles is the main reason why Alabama LBs excel at the collegiate level.

If anything, the secondary is the strength of this defense.
Maybe we will be running the dime as base defense...

I actually think this injury isnt that simple for bama. MLB is the most important position on the defensive side of things (arguably) and going from a draft eligible beast to a true freshman is a big deal
Totally agree. Years of experience recognizing schemes and ensuring guys are in correct formations. Defensive field general.

Literally the Quarterback of the defense. This is a tough blow

While many LSU fans look down on this kid for bailing on our state, he has always been a class act as far I can tell and this really sucks fir him.

Just dont play defense. put the kicker in at line backer. It worked for OU

Sure, Alabama has talent available at linebacker. The problem is, much of that talent is inexperienced and they do not yet have the ability to call the defense, get guys lined up, recognize what the offense is doing, etc. Moses was that guy for Alabama.
Alabama’s schedule is mostly backloaded, so hopefully the young guys can figure it out in the early games.

Oh they do, but that doesn’t mean they are really 5 star talents. Sometimes kids that sign with Bama get overrated, shocking I know.

That’s terrible. I could see some LSU fans getting banned in this thread.

We can hate him and all for going to Bama but it's never okay to wish injury on a kid. Hope he recovers well.

We need to dial fall camp down a notch. We’ve got 5 stars hurting 5 stars and leaving the cupboard bare come game time.

Just flashed across my phone. Terrible news. He was a Butkus award winner waiting to happen. Next man up. Hope he recovers and plays again.

He is a first round talent

Possibly, but domination at the LOS has been a huge reason why you guys have done so well in the SEC over the years.
A great DL makes the LBs and DBs play better since you don't have to commit other players to the LOS.
A dominant OL makes RBs and QB look awesome because of massive holes to run through and plenty of time to scan the field and make throws.

i was saying he has the talent. doubt he is a first rounder after this injury

Eyabi Anoma. I think he was on the outside, though.
