Dugan is really a great QB and should have won the Heisman. Bennett is slightly above average but has the luck of being surrounded by a lot of talent and Kirby Smarts' lack of understanding the quarterback position. Dugan will make the big plays and Bennett will be minimized under TCU's constant assault on him.

Sure but the other 21 positions, outside of that one receiver, heavily favor UGA.

Stroud was carving up our secondary all night and yet Bennett put up a better showing in the end, including getting the W. Not bad for a walk on who didn't get any legit offers out of high school.

Matt McClearin said something interesting on the radio earlier. Something like 40 out of 46 of the teams that have made the BCSNC and Playoff were programs that were in the top 10 in recruiting. And only two of those 6 teams that weren't won it. Those teams' QBs were Deshaun Watson, and Cam Newton. Point being that you basically have to have a badass, future NFL starter at QB if you want to win a championship against a much more talented team. Duggan is good, but he isn't that good.
