Very rare you can beat both those schools by double digits and it doesn’t really move the needle.

Nah. Getting our arse beat by Bama is all that stopped us.

Down Year for the SEC Hurt A&M

This is what i've been thinking last few weeks. A&M struck it rich getting to play a bunch of SEC scrubs this year, but it hurt them in the end. Their best win was a mediocre Florida team?

Florida is a good win but there weren’t really any difference making wins after the Gators.

The SEC was down and a real shitshow after Bama, Florida and Georgia.

True. It's a good win, but I don't think it's as good as it looks. Florida absolutely did not deserve to stay in the top 10 after losing to us. The committee is clearly garbage. Oklahoma at 6?! Doesn't even make sense.

I agree. If either were ranked A&M is in.

If not down they would lose to those 2 so it evens out for aggie having no chance.

It's very difficult to look good playing SEC teams every week. Depending on opt outs, SEC could have a good bowl season.

if LSU & Auburn weren't down, then Aggie would've lost to them.

Lack of style points in those wins.

The old criteria was W-L record, now you need to win convincingly to prove you belong.

Aggie didn't win convincingly enough against inferior competition.

They only have themselves to blame.

Aggie always had an uphill battle in the style points discussion- they win with defense and run game, for the most part.
