we'll probably play better.... our special teams are solid and can keep us in games. We'll blitz more on defense. We didn't turn the ball over against USU, but didn't force any either... hopefully we continue to take care of the ball while forcing some TOs.

with all that said, it doesn't mean we'll win the game.

You will see less zone. More man to man on D. More passing on offense and a more solid line up instead of switching out linemen on every play.

I fully expect us to play better..

The "which running back is better" is a stupid conversation right now.

Auburn will get absolutely hammered, it's just a preview what will happen when the hogs, tide, and lsu will do. Seeing your defense i think ole miss will run all over you.

Well, hang up the cleats fellas. No reason to play this season. The rant has written us off.

Now I just have to find another team. I been eyeing me some.

AU sucks and will be fortunate to win 6 games.

MSU is gonna pound that arse this weekend.

Hear me now...believe me later.

Hmm...who to believe, Vegas or people who wake up every morning lying next to an immediate family member?

Was kidding of course with that remark. I don't blame anyone for feeling that way, if they aren't an Auburn fan. If we think Auburn will win, we have to believe that we will learn how to tackle, get the right personnel on the field, fix alignments, design a strategy that is as good as this past Saturday's was terrible...all in a week. It is a tall order. I on board though with Auburn. If State fans can stay optimistic through all the shite they have dealt with over the years, so can we. In looking for something to be optimistic about, Vegas has indeed provided something. Anybody remember what Oklahoma did to a good Florida State team last year after almost losing to Utah State? See, there's something else!

They guys work hard all year. They need the fans support. None of those guys on the field at JHS are world beaters. They are learning play to play. Patience and support will be the things needed most this year.

Lutz was on twitter appologising to the fans about Saturdays game. None of them have a single thing to be sorry for.

This. They are a young team that is basically getting OJT. It's going to be an interesting season and overlook auburn at your own peril.

Auburn will play better this week. Don't know if they will win but they will be better. I'm hoping for 7 OTs

You aren't going AE on us are you?

I hope Auburn wins and will certainly be cheering for them in the game. However, my optimism for the season took a big hit Saturday. Do you have to think your team will win every game to be a fan?

I picked AU to win by 10. I am excited by the improved play of the O-Line. I am still worried about the middle of the D-Line and our LB's. I am sure it will improve with each game and maturing.

Having MSU 3rd and long several times and letting them get first downs is a concern. I am stoked about our Special Teams (what has won the last two games imo) and Parkey is the real deal. Overall I am excited by the tenacity of this young team and their ability to grind it out.
