No hate here. I don’t care for what happened, but I don’t blame the players.
Here’s an (unsolicited) opinion from someone whose team is the habitual target of that same fanbase you referenced: Life is far more enjoyable when you let go of what others think.

Here’s the way I understand it
NC State had 14 players that were unvaccinated and subject to testing at CWS.
One player tested positive. He and his roommate were deemed ineligible for the game yesterday.
Vanderbilt said they felt unsafe and demanded the other unvaccinated players be tested. This left NC State with 13 players for their game yesterday.
One additional player in the unvaccinated group tested positive. The NCAA broke their entire protocol and tested the entire roster. Four additional positives and the NCAA disqualified NC State.

Either way, Vandy gets a free pass to the NCG after having to play one game, against a 13 player team, now this forfeited game. Without burning its ace & the rest of the staff. While State has to burn its ace today against UT. Corbin knew exactly what he was doing when he said his players felt unsafe....while his entire team was vaccinated, and according to "science", safe. And this will carry over to next baseball season's road games.

So why did they test the vaccinated players for NC State, then make the non vaccinated ones who tested negative not play? The whole reason for this was 4 vaccinated players tested positive. Something is fishy
