You mean to tell me that Phat Phuck hires Jeremy freaking Pruitt over Les Miles who has proven he can win big in the SEC? Why? Recruiting? Les was a pretty damn good recruiter. Record? Pruitt has none, Les has a long one. Connections? Les is supposedly buds with Phatass. No, Phatass gave that job to Pruitt for no other reason than to hurt Alabama. Why not? This search has been a fiasco from the get go, all the big names are off the board, and he needed someone in place like yesterday. So why not just screw over Bama? If Pruitt is the next up and comer like Muschamp and Kirby, he got lucky and killed two birds with one stone. If not, he’ll conduct a better search in a couple of years after Pruitt crashes and burns but Bama still loses their DC.

As a realist, I'll say this.
We want folks to want our coordinators. It means that they do a fantastic job. Saban should and has to allow his coordinators to interview for the benefit of his employees. It's what a good boss does.
However, frick constantly getting to the playoffs and our coordinators becoming distractions.
On the bright side, at least, our star RB hasn't raped anyone unlike Oklahoma's.

We've had a rash that f new Bama fans it seems. Those frickers melt over everything. Pruit was a good D.C. But the one I'm worried about is keeping Tosh. He is alabamas best recruiter next to Saban. He has been co D.C. All year but I don't know what his role was with game planning etc.

I ain't even mad. It's just business. The fact that our staff gets hired away for big promotions helps us easily attract and hire great staff.
I just hope Saban tells him to go now and turns it over to CoDC Tosh Lupoi for the playoffs. Letting the last two coordinators (Kirby &Kiffin) stick around did not turn out well. They ended up doing a lousy job.

Brah, fans hate Alabama because they are winners.
Coaches & Support staff admires Bama. If they didn't, the Saban coaching tree would be a lot smaller and our team wouldn't be in the CFPs. The Bama brand helped us tremendously to get in the CFP.

Talked to a couple Vol buds of mine over the last hour. They are hoping Pruitt can poach Lupoi. Not sure if he would do that though, leave Bama for UT to coach with Pruitt

I don't know why he would leave for the same position at a lesser program for an unproven HC. Saban will get him the money and after a couple of years he will be the next hot name for a HC position.
