No. No they are not identical in yards per carry. Chubb is averaging more yards per carry, this season, than Fournette.

Fact.

But hey - I'm not surprised you read something differently. It's how you roll.

LF could win the Heisman and you would sill have UGA fans tell you chubb is better because of cherry picked statistics from 2014

they'll find out when the 2017 draft comes around and Fournette gets drafted before Chubbs. Until then (and even after) they will continue to argue that Chubbs is better.

8.36 to 8.23 yd/carry. So, 4 inches more a carry.

And Fournette is averaging 193.5 yd/gm to Chubbs 156. Fournette has more rushing TDs in less games.

This game is fun!

I've just come to realize the butthurt was so strong for those years when LSU had a three back system and said they were the best running backs in college and all UGA did was dominate the run game. All the sudden the greatest recuit since Jesus to play football has an awesome game against one of the worst run defenses in the country and he is better than Jesus and Chubb. Anybody else remember Chubb going for over 200 last year in a bowl game against a top 3 run defenses in the country haha. LSU fans are delusional to think LF is better than Chubb because of one game. So if and when Chubb breaks Herschel Walkers consecutive 100 yard rushing games record it won't matter because LF is the second coming of Jesus. I'll say this real slow and loud so LSU fans can understand me "Chubb could break an astonishing record that was set by the greatest running back and college football history" it wouldn't be enough to be better than LF hahaha.

Please enlighten me as to which categories LF lead in and then proceed to tell me how they are more important in judging a running back.

No. The best tandem in the SEC is Les Fournettes of LSU, Leonard and Lanard. Genetically, they have the highest probability of finding a mate and producing the next great Fournette.

Any other combo has exactly zero chance of producing another Fournette. Thus, any other combo, including Chubb/Michel is inferior.

As bad as UGA'S PASSING game was last year, it was far better than LSU'S.

LSU'S QB

All these Georgia fans getting scared quoting stats from last season. Have you ever heard of an offseason training program, player maturing, agility/strength programs during an offseason? Players tend to get better year to year. Guess who Cam Caneron said was the most improved player on the team during the spring? You guessed it. Fournette

Fournette had 160 yards in a stacked box of 9-10 guys against State. Just went all Herschel Walker on auburn, and is only going to get better.

He is averaging 193 yards per game in SEC play.

Fournette has taken a huge step this offseason and Georgia is obviously scared since their quoting last season's stats..

I feel like this post needs to be a prime example of the retardation coming from UGA's fanbase

You keep feeding my narrative. By the way, Fournette has played one fewer game yet has two more thouchdowns.

You have to add in LF's potential. That's easily worth 2 more YPC

Would you rather have $8.36 or $8.23? If you can't see one is greater than the other then I'm afraid the educational system in Louisiana is much worse than I previously thought.

After reading this thread, I am very thankful that I am not an LSU fan. I would say over half the country didn't know who Fournette was until maybe the bowl game last year. Yes he is performing at a high level right now, but he hasn't been doing it as long as Chubb. No one in the SEC has been as deep as Georgia over the past four years at running back and that is fact, yet somehow LSU fans always love to use the excuse that he's been sharing the load. Fournette had to share the load last year because he wasn't good enough to win the starting job, that's a fact.

I would love to play LSU but sadly you won't make it to Atlanta, you're on the decline. 4 in a row losses to Bama, shutout by Arkansas (WOW). You have beaten two unproven teams this year and you think you are suddenly right back where you were in 2011. You will lose 3 games in November and your fan base will call for Miles to be fired. You will sink back into the Dinardo days of irrelevancy and college football will be nothing but a past time hobby for you and your friends. Geaux Tigers.
