re: What is your #1 swing thought throughout backswing?

Look at target line a few inches in front and then just think smooth swing here.

So we're to believe Trent who only this year started breaking 90 from the white tees went to Oakmont and shot 104 from 7500 yards. I'm skeptical.

Just played Beaver Creek this past weekend for the first time. It's in pretty nice shape and is pretty wide open minus about 2 holes.

I question the sanity of any adult who watches YouTube golf. I can’t wrap my head around it, at all. Watching random people jsut play golf with nothing on the line for no reason
But it's totally cool to watch a bunch of 18-22 year olds play a children's game for a made up trophy.

He's engagement farming and it's seems to be working.
He did something similar with a Tiger Woods video

They're the best we have for public play in New Orleans. I do however like to venture east into Mississippi when I have more time.
re: Someone explain Disney obsessed adults to me

Some people spend 10s of thousands on Disney and others spend 10s of thousands watching a children's game. Different strokes for different folks.

Same. If the hole has to have a draw because I'll run out of fairway I hit the mini.

For someone who espouses the principles of stoicism, Ryan Holiday sure is a whiny little bitch.

They're worth a trip but I'd say no over the listed courses.
re: Anybody play Maxfli Tours?
Posted by MrSpock on 5/27/25 at 7:19 pm
Been playing the Tour X for a couple months. They do everything I need from the tee and irons and have plenty of spin around the greens
re: 7-wood to replace 4 iron?
Posted by MrSpock on 5/26/25 at 8:46 pm
7-wood is more of a 3-iron replacement and 9-wood is a 4 iron replacement.
I love my 7-wood. Can hit it 235ish off the tee and 225ish of the ground and it will stop on a dime.

If only the PGA measured a stat that was irrespective of the driver used such as swing speed.

Oh look Glover ranks 168th there too.

Jesus Christ "Fitted"!
Fitted is some money making scam golf pros use to make money off the willing. 95 percent of golfers just need to have the correct shaft for the swing speed they are.
I'd tend to agree. So what if your lie angle is off a bit and your center off by a few yards. When your dispersion is 40+ yards as a beginner it doesn't really matter.
